We strictly enforce the "Leave No Trace" policy on all our treks. Our guides ensure that all non-biodegradable waste is carried back to cities for proper disposal. We also conduct annual trail clean-up expeditions.
100% of our guides and porters are hired locally. We provide them with fair wages, comprehensive insurance, and seasonal gear. We also source our food and supplies from local tea houses to support the mountain economy.
We encourage our trekkers to use reusable water bottles and water purification tablets instead of buying single-use plastic bottles on the trail. This simple step saves thousands of plastic bottles from being burned or dumped in the mountains each year.
