Yeti Hikes Pvt. Ltd. (“Yeti Hikes,” “the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a company incorporated and registered under the prevailing laws of Nepal with Company Registration Number 341607/081/082, with its operations based in Kathmandu, Nepal.
These Terms and Conditions constitute an agreement between Yeti Hikes Pvt. Ltd. and the person making a booking, purchasing a service, or participating in a trip arranged by the Company (“Client,” “you,” or “your”).
By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, making a booking, making a payment, or participating in any trip or service arranged by Yeti Hikes, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all trekking, tours, expeditions, adventure activities, transportation, accommodation, domestic flights, helicopter services, permits, equipment rentals, and other travel-related services arranged or provided by Yeti Hikes.
A booking may be made through the Yeti Hikes website, email, WhatsApp, telephone, social media, or other authorized communication channels.
A booking becomes confirmed when:
Submitting an enquiry or booking request does not guarantee availability until the Company provides confirmation.
By confirming a booking, the Client agrees to comply with these Terms and Conditions, the applicable Booking, Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy, and any specific conditions included in the Client’s quotation or booking confirmation.
The Client must provide accurate and complete information required for the successful operation of the trip.

Yeti Hikes shall not be responsible for problems arising from incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information provided by the Client.
The price of each trip is based on the itinerary and services specified in the quotation or booking confirmation.
Depending on the package, services may include:
Services not specifically stated as included are excluded from the package price and shall be paid for separately by the Client.
Payments must be made according to the payment schedule communicated by Yeti Hikes.
The Company may accept payment through:
Online payments may be processed through GETPAY using Yeti Hikes’ merchant/payment facility associated with NMB Bank.
A 4% online payment/service charge may apply to eligible payments made through the online payment gateway.
The payment charge is separate from the cost of the travel services.

Government authorities, airlines, hotels, transportation providers, permit offices, and other suppliers may change their fees or charges.
Changes may include:
Where such increases occur after a booking has been made and cannot reasonably be absorbed within the original price, the additional cost may be payable by the Client.
Yeti Hikes makes reasonable efforts to operate trips according to the confirmed itinerary.
However, trekking and adventure travel may be affected by circumstances beyond the Company’s control.
The Company reserves the right to modify, reroute, postpone, shorten, extend, or otherwise alter an itinerary when reasonably necessary due to:
Where reasonably possible, Yeti Hikes will provide an appropriate alternative arrangement.
Any additional cost resulting from a Client-requested itinerary change may be payable by the Client.
Mountain conditions can change rapidly and may affect trekking routes, transportation, accommodation, flights, and other travel arrangements.
The Client acknowledges that trekking in the Himalayas involves inherent risks associated with:
The Company does not guarantee specific weather conditions, flight schedules, trail conditions, or access to any particular location.
Clients must take seriously and follow reasonable instructions given by:
Safety instructions may relate to weather, altitude, trail conditions, transportation, health, or other risks.
Where necessary for safety, the trek leader or authorized Yeti Hikes representative may decide to:
Safety-related decisions made by the trek leader or authorized Yeti Hikes representative shall be final where necessary to protect the Client or other participants.
Yeti Hikes shall not be responsible for consequences resulting from a Client’s deliberate refusal to follow reasonable safety instructions.
Clients are responsible for determining whether they are physically and medically fit to participate in their selected trip.
Certain trips may involve strenuous physical activity and high-altitude trekking.
Clients should obtain appropriate medical and travel advice before participating in demanding trekking or adventure activities.
The Client should inform Yeti Hikes of relevant health, dietary, or other requirements that may reasonably affect the safe operation of the trip.
Altitude sickness and other health conditions can occur during high-altitude trekking.
If a Client becomes ill or injured, Yeti Hikes and its representatives may assist in arranging:
The availability and timing of emergency services may depend on weather, location, aircraft availability, government authorization, and other circumstances.
The Client is responsible for medical, rescue, evacuation, accommodation, transportation, and other emergency costs unless such costs are covered by another responsible party or insurance provider.
Clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance before participating in any Yeti Hikes trip.
Insurance should ideally cover:
Yeti Hikes does not provide travel insurance unless expressly stated in writing.
The Company is not responsible for costs that should reasonably be covered by the Client’s insurance policy.
Yeti Hikes may arrange permits required for the Client’s trip where such services are included in the booking.
These may include:
Permit requirements and fees may change according to government regulations.
Clients must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, permit conditions, conservation rules, immigration requirements, and instructions issued by Nepalese authorities.
Yeti Hikes may provide guides, porters, drivers, and other personnel according to the requirements of the booked trip.
Clients are expected to treat all guides, porters, drivers, hotel staff, and other personnel respectfully.
Yeti Hikes does not tolerate:
The Company may terminate a Client’s participation where the Client’s behavior creates a serious safety risk or materially disrupts the trip.
In such circumstances, the Client may be responsible for resulting costs and may not be entitled to a refund.
Accommodation will be provided according to the category stated in the confirmed itinerary.
In remote trekking areas, accommodation may be provided in locally operated teahouses, lodges, guesthouses, or similar establishments.
Facilities may vary considerably from those available in cities or international-standard hotels.
If the specified accommodation becomes unavailable, Yeti Hikes may arrange a reasonably suitable alternative.
Domestic flights, helicopter services, road transportation, and other transportation arrangements are subject to the conditions of the relevant operator.
Flights and transportation may be delayed or cancelled due to:
Yeti Hikes will make reasonable efforts to arrange alternatives where possible.
Additional costs resulting from delays, cancellations, or changes may be payable by the Client where they are not covered by the relevant service provider or insurance.
Clients are responsible for their passports, money, luggage, electronic devices, trekking equipment, and other personal belongings.
Yeti Hikes is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings unless directly caused by proven negligence of the Company.
Clients are advised to keep valuable items secure and maintain appropriate travel insurance.
The Client agrees to:

Clients must comply with environmental and conservation rules applicable to the destination.
Cancellation and refund matters are governed by the separate Yeti Hikes Booking, Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

Certain government, permit, flight, accommodation, transportation, supplier, administrative, and payment-processing costs may be non-refundable.
Generally, no refund is provided for a Client who voluntarily drops out of a trip after the trip has started, and no refund is provided for unused services such as accommodation, transportation, meals, sightseeing, permits, or other itinerary components.

Yeti Hikes shall not be liable for failure, delay, cancellation, or modification of services caused by circumstances beyond the Company’s reasonable control.

The Company will make reasonable efforts to assist Clients and arrange alternatives where practical.
Certain services may be provided by independent third parties, including:
These services are subject to the terms, conditions, operational procedures, and limitations of the respective providers.
Yeti Hikes is not responsible for independent acts or omissions of third-party providers except to the extent required by applicable law.
Yeti Hikes will exercise reasonable care in arranging and providing the services described in the confirmed booking.
However, the Company shall not be responsible for losses, delays, injuries, additional expenses, inconvenience, or other consequences caused by:
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable Nepalese law.
Yeti Hikes may collect and process personal information necessary to provide its services.
This may include passport details, contact information, emergency contacts, booking information, payment-related information, and information required for permits and travel arrangements.
Personal information may be shared with relevant service providers, government authorities, airlines, accommodation providers, payment providers, or other parties where reasonably necessary to provide the booked services or comply with legal requirements.

Clients who do not wish to appear in promotional material should notify Yeti Hikes in writing before or during the trip.

Such content may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, republished, or commercially used without prior written permission from Yeti Hikes, except where permitted by applicable law.
Clients and website visitors agree not to use the Yeti Hikes website for unlawful purposes.
Users must not knowingly:
Yeti Hikes reserves the right to restrict or terminate access where misuse or unauthorized activity is detected.
If a Client has a complaint regarding a service, the Client should notify the guide, trek leader, or Yeti Hikes representative as soon as reasonably possible.
This gives the Company an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue while the trip is in progress.
If the issue cannot be resolved during the trip, the Client should submit the complaint to Yeti Hikes in writing within a reasonable period after completion of the trip.
Yeti Hikes and the Client agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes through communication and good-faith negotiation.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved mutually, it may be referred to the competent authorities or courts in accordance with the laws of Nepal.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of Nepal.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved through mutual agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts and authorities of Nepal.
Yeti Hikes Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions when reasonably necessary to reflect:
The Terms and Conditions applicable to a confirmed booking will generally be the version accepted by the Client at the time of booking, subject to mandatory changes required by law or government regulation.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a competent authority, that provision shall be interpreted or modified to the extent necessary to make it enforceable where legally possible.
The remaining provisions shall continue to remain in full force and effect.
These Terms and Conditions, together with the Client’s confirmed quotation, itinerary, Booking, Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and any other written terms expressly incorporated into the booking, constitute the agreement between Yeti Hikes and the Client regarding the applicable services.
Where a specific written term in the confirmed booking conflicts with a general provision of these Terms and Conditions, the specific written term applicable to that booking may prevail.
