Terms and Conditions for Booking a Trip with Yeti Hikes Pvt. Ltd.
Yeti Hikes ("Company," "we," or "us") provides an online platform that allows users to plan and book travel-related services. By accessing or using the website located at https://www.yetihikes.com (the "Site"), or by booking any product or service offered through the Site, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (the "Terms").

Booking Policy
To book a trip with us, you must complete the reservation form and submit it with a scan copy or photocopy of your passport. You must also make a down payment of 25% of the total cost at least 30 days or 1 calendar month before your tour departure date. Failure to make the down payment on time may result in the cancellation of your booking. The balance of payment can be made upon arrival in Kathmandu, unless it is a Bhutan, India, or Tibet tour, in which case the balance must be paid 20 days before departure. We reserve the right to cancel your trip if you do not make the payment on time.
Postponement, Cancellation & Refund Policy
If you need to postpone your trip, we will transfer your earlier payment to your new trip. If you cancel your trip, the 25% down payment will be deemed a cancellation fee and is nonrefundable. We will refund the excess amount to your bank account or credit card. However, if the cancellation is due to unforeseen circumstances beyond your control, you may reschedule your tour to another date. You must notify us of any postponement, rescheduling, or cancellation via email at least 14 days before the tour departure date. Changes in Prices
All tour rates are quoted in US dollars and are subject to change. Once you have confirmed your booking with a down payment, the booking price will be guaranteed against any surcharges, except in cases of drastic currency fluctuation, new government taxes, or any other costs beyond our control. In case of cancellation of the Bhutan tour, 20% of the trip cost will be charged as the cancellation fee and in case of and Tibet tour, 50% of the trip cost will be charged as the cancellation fees.
*Note – in case of Tibet and Bhutan tour, the cancellation fee depends upon the policy of our Tibet and Bhutan agents
Last-minute booking
We even accept last minute bookings for Nepal treks and tours. You can book your trip at least three days prior to your departure date. In the case of Tibet tour and Bhutan tour, last-minute booking is not viable.
Mode of Payment
You can pay in cash, by credit card, or through SWIFT/Wire Transfer. Please note that there will be an additional 3.75% processing fee for credit card payments, and you will be responsible for any bank service charges or fees for SWIFT/Wire Transfer payments. Acceptance of Risk
Although we prioritize your safety, some aspects of the tour may involve risks to your health and safety that are beyond our control. Therefore, you must assume full responsibility for any risks involved in participating in the tour. Additionally, you must comply with all local laws and regulations during the tour. Failure to comply with the law or engaging in any illegal acts that cause or are likely to cause danger, distress, or material annoyance to yourself or others will result in the immediate termination of your tour without any refund.
Liability
We are not responsible for any loss, damage, accidents, injuries, illnesses, incomplete tours, or changes in schedule caused by unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, strikes, natural disasters, changes in government regulations, or any other factors beyond our control. Any additional costs incurred due to such circumstances will be your responsibility. While we act in good faith, we cannot guarantee the performance of any third-party providers, such as airlines, buses, and hotels. We reserve the right to alter routes, itineraries, or departure times to ensure safety.
Incomplete Tour
We are not responsible for providing any refunds if the tour is incomplete due to reasons related to the client, including but not limited to illness, death of family members, urgent matters at home, delayed arrival, or other unforeseeable circumstances, whether voluntarily or involuntarily. No discounts or refunds will be provided in such cases.
Flight cancellation and delays
Flight delays and cancellation are common during monsoon in Nepal. It is recommended to keep a few extra days for contingency purposes. Also, take insurance that covers flight delays and cancellation. Any losses or extra cost incurred due to flight delays and cancellation is not our responsibility.
Travel Insurance
We highly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance, especially for trekking and climbing trips above 2,500 meters. Your insurance should cover medical and emergency evacuation expenses. You must provide us with a copy of your travel insurance upon your arrival in Kathmandu before the tour begins.

Yeti Hikes Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to revise its terms and conditions at any time. As a client, it is your responsibility to review the terms and conditions periodically, particularly when booking a trip with us. Our terms and conditions are available on our website, and by booking a service with us, you are confirming that you have read and understood our terms and conditions.
